Airline Reviews
Which airlines are good? What's your baggage allowance? Will you be able to choose your seat? These questions and more are [hopefully] answered by my airline reviews. The following airline reviews are now available:
- Air Asia
- Air Asia is far and away the largest low cost carrier in Southeast Asia. Founded in Malaysia, the airline now has affiliates in Thailand and Indonesia as well as a long haul service called Air Asia X.
- Bangkok Airways
- Bangkok Airways bills itself as "Asia's Boutique Airline".
- Garuda Indonesia
- Garuda is the Indonesian national airline. It has an extensive domestic network and also flies to destinations around Asia and the Middle East.
- Lao Airlines
- Lao is the national (and only) carrier of Laos. It connects several cities in the small landlocked country to each other as well as its neighbors.
- Jetstar Asia
- Singapore-based budget subsidiary of Qantas Airlines. Jetstar Asia and Valuair (merged in 2005) fly from Singapore to most of Southeast Asia's major tourist and business destinations.
- Tiger Airways
- Singapore-based Tiger is, in effect, the low-cost arm of Singapore Airlines, with an investment from Ryan Air as well.
